Quilt - Forest Critters - Handmade - Black This quilt is a must see! This quilt has never been used! My Aunt Jane made this beautiful quilt by hand. She hand appliqued, hand quilted, and hand bound this beauty. A true lady of great patience. I tried to show photos of some of the detail in the bugs. The bug's legs were hand embroidered. Notice the bumble bee's black stripes against the yellow body. Each of these stripes were hand appliqued. Amazing! The critter's eyeballs and pupils were hand appliqued. The veins in all of the floral leaves were hand embroidered.
